CELEBRITY TREND: Back to Black (and White) at The BAFTAS

Top honors at The 2012 BAFTA Awards went to The Artist, which was of course made in black and white. So perhaps it’s apt that the majority of the celebrities in attendance opted for monochromatic looks. winner Meryl Streep, Christina Hendricks and Elizabeth McGovern and Melissa George amongst others wore floor-length black gowns, while Kristen Wiig and Tilda Swinton were flawless in white columns. Michelle Williams wowed the crowd in a black and white H&M gown custom-made for the nominated actress from sustainable materials.
