Grace: A Memoir

As some of you know I have been a HUGE Grace Coddington fan since I had the pleasure of meeting her a few years ago when she was signing copies of her last book. To find that someone who loves fashion as much as she does and also loves cats as much as I do, was such a thrill. She was lovely to talk to, as was her partner, Dider Malige and I will always treasure my copy of The Catwalk Cats.

I can’t wait to read her memoir, Grace. In the meantime I enjoyed this review on ArtInfo entitled, Grace Coddington’s Memoir Is Not Your Usual Celebrity Tell-All. Chloe Wyma points out that,

Grace Coddington does not like bling, jogging, hard drugs, Botox, power suits, public speaking, the movie “Zoolander,” or photographing entitled celebrities. She likes cats, the color black, a bottle or two of wine, and her untamable mane of red hair (“I need a big frame around my head because it helps make my body look smaller,” she explains). Grace Coddington — she’ll have you know —  is not a “fashionista.”
